Our team currently consists of the two founders Maurice and Julia.
May I introduce:
Maurice
Whether it's starting a business, reading, building, soldering or sports, I want to learn as much as possible and try everything. Of course, that includes 3D printing. It has always fascinated me and it still does today. I built my own printer at first, then I bought another one and quickly everything started to take its course. I started with small things that were practical and then the prints got better and bigger.
Julie
I am the creative soul at RePot. From designing to writing and drawing, everything is in my hands. I am also enthusiastic about various things, such as plants.
There are not too many plants,
just not enough space ;)
So when I asked Maurice to print a plant pot that looks nice, isn't too heavy and doesn't break immediately if it's dropped, we got the first RePot.
Of course, it wasn't waterproof and wasn't really stable either. It took us countless attempts, sleepless nights, and sometimes even tears before we managed to print a really good plant pot. We quickly received comments from friends and family saying that the design was unique and the idea very innovative. We showed it on plant forums and impressed them too, who wanted to order it straight away. We were totally surprised and hadn't expected such a response. So we carried on.
By chance, when Maurice was serving as a waiter for the manager of a renowned garden center, we got the chance to prove ourselves.
The employees were enthusiastic and encouraged us to continue with the idea. But what motivated us most were the first sales in the garden center. Customers quickly came and even put all the shapes in their shopping carts.
We spent the weekends before Christmas at a stand with our pots in the garden center. We learned so much from great encounters with unique people, who we still rave about today. We watched children marvel when they first saw the 3D printer that our pots come from, and talked to older ladies and gentlemen who were happy to be able to see and experience something like this at their age.
We are grateful for the experiences we have had and are still able to have.

We put an incredible amount of love and work into RePot and hope that you notice this and support us in passing this on to more people.
